BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker have announced their refreshed senior valuation team as Jim Crafford takes on the new role as head of valuation UK.
Crafford has been appointed following a decade at BNP Paribas Real Estate and Strutt & Parker. He most recently held a role leading the regional valuation business for both brands, however, will now cover the entirety of its joint activity across the UK and will be based in the London head office.
He has over 20 years industry experience as a general practice surveyor, largely concentrating on the development space over the last decade, an area of the valuation business that has grown exponentially over this time. Jim is extremely client focused and manages a multitude of high profile client relationships both in the private and public sectors.
Stephen Wolfe, head of commercial at BNP Paribas Real Estate commented: ‘In an illiquid and competitive market, accurate valuations are vital, especially as we head towards the bottom of pricing across many asset classes. With values falling behind pricing, transaction volumes reducing, ESG considerations, and less comparability available and data playing catch-up in many cases, having an established team of experts in place to guide our clients in the right direction is fundamental.’
Crafford will work alongside the following senior team of experts across various specialisms and sectors:
• Paul Abrey (head of professional services - UK)
• Peter Sudell – head of London portfolio
• Peter Jacob – head of London valuation advisory
• James Cunliffe – head of residential valuations
• Lindsey Lock – head of student & alternatives
• Victoria Seal – head of expert witness & consultancy
• Ben Moon – head of secured asset advisory
• Samantha Rowland – head of healthcare & senior living
• Thomas Lockton – head of national rural valuations
• Tim Mitford-Slade – head of development
• Richard Gill – head of build-to-rent valuations
• Richard Talbot-Williams – head of hotels
• Donna Rourke – head of ESG & sustainability
• Vanessa Hale – head of research and insights
