The Italian property fund management unit of BNP Paribas REIM has divested a retail complex in the Laurentina district of Rome for roughly EUR 25 mln and is currently seeking investors for a central office building in the Italian capital.

The Italian property fund management unit of BNP Paribas REIM has divested a retail complex in the Laurentina district of Rome for roughly EUR 25 mln and is currently seeking investors for a central office building in the Italian capital.

The fund manager, on behalf of its BNL Portfolio Immobiliare fund in liquidation, has sold a mid-sized Decathlon retail unit to an unnamed foreign institutional investors for a yield of 7%. The proceeds of the sale will be used to reduce the indebtedness of the fund. Jones Lang LaSalle acted for the seller.

Also in Rome, BNP Paribas REIM SGR has appointed Colliers Elitrade on an exclusive basis to divest Palazzo Capponi, a seven-storey historic building located near Piazza del Popolo. The property, which dates back to the 16th century, is owned by Patrimonio Uno, a vehicle managed by BNP Paribas REIM.
