BNP Paribas REIM has acquired a former central post office building in Paris for an unnamed global financial institution.
The landmark 1920s development on rue La Boétie, built in Art Deco style, has been extensively modernised prior to its sale by Poste Immo, the real estate subsidiary of La Poste Group.
The six-storey building has a floor area of around 11,000 m2 and facilities including a cafeteria, a staff canteen and an auditorium.
The refurbishment was carried out under the supervision of architectural firm DTACC and has achieved BREEAM, LEED, NF HQE and Effeninergie Renovation certification for its environmental performance.
The investment was made on behalf of Accimmo Pierre, which secured long-term financing with a pool of banks arranged by Natixis. BNP Paribas REIM was advised by Wargny Katz notarial office and law firms Gide and Clifford Chance. Les notaires du Trocadéro and law firm Lacourt Raquin Tatar acted for the seller.
