BNP Paribas REIM has acquired the second largest e-commerce centre in Europe on behalf of Vestas Investment Management's European Logistics Fund.

It is the first acquisition for the vehicle which aims to invest a further €250 mln in European logistics asset by the end of the year.

Financial details were not disclosed.
 
Located in Poland near Szczecin, the building was delivered in September 2017 by Panattoni Europe and provides 161,500 m2 of space over three floors. More than 3,000 robots have been put in place to support the employees, using robotics technology.
