BNP Paribas REIM has announced the acquisition of carmaker Nissan's headquarters in Paris on behalf of a private investor from the Middle East.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The asset, delivered in early 2017, was sold via a share deal to the OPCI K Montigny, managed by BNP Paribas REIM France on behalf of its client.

Located near Paris, at Montigny-Le-Bretonneux, the building provides 14,000 m2 of lettable area and 500 car parking spaces. The campus, called Hajimé, is fully let to Nissan which uses it as its Central office in Europe.
 
'This transaction is the result of our new setup dedicated to our clients to support them in their European investment strategy,' said Xavier Mouette, head of Key Client Group of BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management business line. 'After having also successfully contributed to the acquisition of So Ouest Plaza this month, we are currently working on other transactions, on behalf of clients from Asia, the Gulf region and elsewhere. Our ambition is to further develop this new offering in the years to come.'
 
The buyer was advised by law firm Dentons and notaries Thibierge.
