BNP Paribas Real Estate said it has further expanded its global coverage with alliances in Poland, Switzerland and the US, boosting the number of countries in which it is active to 30.

In Poland, the real estate adviser has signed an alliance with Brittain Hadley Europa, which offers a full range of commercial property advice including building consultancy, leasing, investment, project management and valuation from its headquarters in Warsaw.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has also formed a partnership with the commercial arm of Naef & Cie, a leading adviser in Switzerland. Naef was set up five years ago and has quickly become a leading player in the market with offices
across Western Switzerland. The firm offers a full range of commercial property services.

Henri Faure, Deputy Chief Executive of BNP Paribas Real Estate, said: 'BNP Paribas Real Estate is a market leader in Europe and it is important to strengthen our international coverage with local expertise in countries where there is expected growth.'

In the US, BNP Paribas Real Estate has also signed an alliance with Falcon Real Estate, a commercial property company specialising in investment and asset management.

BNP Paribas reported pre-tax profit of EUR 76.4 mln in 2009 on turnover of EUR 554 mln, down from turnover of EUR 666 mln in 2008.
