BNP Paribas Real Estate has hired GVA Bilfinger's Ian Bragg as head of building consultancy, based in London.
Bragg was joint head of building consultancy in London and a senior director at GVA Bilfinger with national responsibility for business development across the group.
He has 23 years' market experience, 10 of which were spent at GVA and the remainder at Donaldsons where he was a partner.
Bragg specialises in advising clients on the technical risks of purchasing and developing property and he has completed due diligence on some of the largest investment transactions and development projects in Europe. Notable schemes include The Old War Office, Whitehall; The Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane; The Canadian Embassy, Grosvenor Square; Pulitzer Hotel, Amsterdam and significant property portfolios in the traditional and alternative market sectors.
The appointment follows BNP Paribas' recruitment of several sector experts in recent months. These have included the recruitment of leisure experts Nick Lyell, Mark Calder and Sally French, who will take up roles in BNP Paribas Real Estate’s newly launched leisure team, allowing the business for the first time to offer leisure sector clients full-service transactional and consulting advice.
The company has also announced senior appointments to its London offices team and the pan-European corporate real estate platform Global Corporate Solutions.
