Pan-European real estate investment manager BNP Paribas REIM has acquired an office complex in Rome, Italy from local player Ream for €37.7 mln.

The 1960s-era asset in Via di Villa Grazioli has recently undergone major refurbishment and modernisation works. Fully let, the property comprises almost 4,000 m2 of total office area. It was being held in Ream's Sympleo fund.

BNP Paribas REIM acquired the property on behalf of an alternative real estate fund dedicated to institutional investors and managed by BNP Paribas REIM Italy.

BNP Paribas was advised by the legal firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, by advisor GVA Redilco and by technical advisor Real Estate Asset & Assurance Service.
