Asset manager BMO Real Estate Partners (BMO REP), part of Canada’s BMO Financial Group, has hired Alexandre Akrap as European logistics manager.
The appointment follows the arrival in March of Lea Castelli and Nadia Baïleche as European retail manager F&B and European asset manager respectively, expanding the team in Paris to seven professionals.
'We are actively expanding our team with the addition of high calibre specialist real estate professionals that can both support the development of new products while also helping to maximise the returns from our existing strategies and investments,' said Ian Kelley, fund director Europe & head of France at BMO Real Estate Partners.
'Alexandre has a deep knowledge of the pan-European logistics market, which is a sector we are looking to increase our exposure to, and the addition of his experience within the team helps us to further deliver on behalf of our clients.'
At BMO REP, Akrap will be tasked with portfolio and asset management, focusing on the logistics sector as well as sourcing on-and off-market logistics investments for current and future pan-European strategies.
He joins BMO REP from CBRE Global Investors, where he held the position of asset manager for European logistics and office funds for seven years.
