Blackstone's Swedish residential division, D. Carnegie & Co, has acquired 1,420 apartments in Greater Stockholm from Swedish residential investor Akelius for SEK 2,471 mln (€248 mln).
The 27 properties are located in Södertälje, Järna, Nynäshamn and Ösmo and were built between 1938 and 1993.
In Södertälje, the portfolio comprises 11 buildings with 810 apartments, while in Järna, there are seven properties with 380 apartments.
The five assets in Nynäshamn represent 80 apartments, while the four properties in Ösmo comprise 150 apartments.
The sales price represents a value of SEK 23,341 (€2,342) per m2. The deal is expected to close in April 2018.
