Staudt, who worked previously for Investa Capital Management, the investment arm of the Investa Real Estate Group, will start in his new position from October.

Prior to Investa, Staudt worked in various positions with asset managers and investment companies such as GE Capital Real Estate and IVG Investment. He started his career at JLL.

'With Holger Staudt, we are very pleased to have gained an experienced real estate expert and an expert on the Berlin market, who will look after our growing portfolio in the capital,' commented Guido Piñol, who was appointed CEO of Officefirst after Blackstone's acquisition from IVG in March this year. 'With a permanent presence on site, we take account of the constantly growing importance of this metropolitan region for our business.'

Up to now, the Bonn-headquartered company managed the Berlin portfolio out of Hamburg.

Officefirst manages the roughly €5 bn office portfolio of US investor Blackstone Group in Germany.
