Blackstone's LogiCor platform has acquired a portfolio of logistics assets in the Netherlands, PropertyEU has learned.
The portfolio of six assets located in the south of the Netherlands was sold by Dutch asset manager Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance on behalf of two funds. The investment volume came to €87 mln.
The assets are Bijsterhuizen 2202, Bijsterhuizen 2204 and Bijsterhuizen 2206 in the town of Wijchen; Atlasstraat 7 in Tilburg; Mechanisatieweg 8 in Oosterhout in north Brabant and Macroweg 13 and Spurkterweg 16-20 in Venray.
LogiCor is a pan-European platform established by Blackstone in 2012, which has acquired logistics portfolios in the UK, France and Poland.
Jones Lang LaSalle and Houthoff Buruma acted for the seller.
The deal with Syntrus Achmea represents LogiCor's entry into the Dutch market but it is the third significant real estate transaction carried out by Blackstone in the Netherlands in a sort space of time. On 3 October PropertyEU reported that Blackstone had sold the five-star Hotel Pulitzer in Amsterdam. Blackstone also confirmed it had completed the acquisition of Multi Corporation, the European shopping centre developer-manager, which is based in the Dutch city of Gouda.
