US private equity giant Blackstone has acquired a portfolio of 17 industrial assets in the Netherlands from local investor Urban Industrial for around €66 mln.
According to information filed with the Dutch land registry, the assets were sold to United NL I and II, entities affiliated to Blackstone. The information further reveals that the properties are located across the country (see below) and comprise a total 110.000 m² of space.
Ten of the 17 assets are properties which Urban Industrial acquired as part of a portfolio from Dutch investor NSI in 2016 and two others were purchased in the same year from Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance.

Urban Industrial was established in 2015 and specialises in industrial investment in the Netherlands. The company also provides loans for the sector and has built up a portfolio of around €50 mln in the last three years.
