He will be responsible for origination and deal execution across Europe in accordance with the firm’s investment strategy.

Strang joins Blackbrook from Clarion Partners Europe, a real estate investment fund manager specialising in high quality logistics properties. Within that role, he was focused on sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate acquisitions across Europe. Throughout his career, he has been involved in multiple real estate transactions, primarily sale-leaseback, build to suit, net lease acquisitions and speculative developments, mainly in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, and Poland.

Previously, he worked at JP Morgan in its Investment Banking Division focussed on industrials.

‘We consider ourselves fortunate to have attracted Jon to our firm,’ said Arvi A. I. Luoma, co-founder & CEO of Blackbrook. ‘His significant experience in net lease transactions, his specialism in the industrial and logistics sector, and his geographic market background made him an ideal candidate to join Blackbrook. Jon will be a valuable addition to the team as we continue to focus on mission-critical assets, and specifically the industrial and logistics sector where we are seeing significant demand and expect to see sustained growth across Europe.’
