Bilfinger boosts German capital markets team

Bilfinger Real Estate has appointed Stefan Hellwig and Marc Stolte to strengthen its capital markets team at the company's Hamburg and Düsseldorf locations.

Stefan Hellwig MRICS, 42, has assumed the role of associate director capital markets with responsibility for the regional investment consulting business at the company's location in Hamburg. Marc Stolte, 47, holds the same function, supporting the investment area at Bilfinger Real Estate in Düsseldorf. Both men joined the company on 1 January; they report to Birgit Lenzen, head of capital markets Germany.

Hellwig has 16 years of investment and fund management experienc and joins from Warburg-HIH Invest, where he worked as senior fund manager. Between 2005 and 2015, he was responsible for, among other things, investments for various management companies in the European market. Before that, he worked for LHI Leasing as portfolio manager. Hellwig has a diploma in business administration and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Stolte will contribute around 15 years of investment experience in all important real estate markets to Bilfinger Real Estate's capital markets team, especially in North Rhine-Westphalia. He has a diploma in business economics and is a qualified real estate economist. In a previous position as associate director investment at DTZ, he oversaw the establishment of the new Düsseldorf office and supported the investment consulting activities in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Before that, Marc Stolte worked for NAI apollo, where he advised investors on the brokering and management of real estate transactions in the Düsseldorf/Cologne region.
