Bilfinger Real Estate has announced the appointment of Marco Reijven as COO to strengthen the management team of its subsidiary in the Netherlands
Reijven, aged 53, will join the executive management team of Bilfinger Real Estate Netherlands as Chief Operating Officer on 1 September. In this role, he will in future be responsible for the international real estate services provider's operational business in the Benelux region.
He has 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, having previously worked for DTZ Zadelhoff as associate director (2001-2005), Halverton Real Estate Investment Management as CEO and at GPT as COO in the Netherlands and Germany (2005-2011). Most recently, since 2012, he has been managing director for Mayfield Asset & Property Management.
With around 3 million m2 of commercial space under management, Bilfinger Real Estate Netherlands is one of the leading real estate managers in the Benelux region. Based at locations in Utrecht, Amstelveen and Apeldoorn, the company manages, leases and sells properties and premises for property owners, investors and fund companies.
