UK property consultancy Bidwells has announced the appointment of Jake Shaw-Tan as its new head of rural agency, Scotland.
Shaw-Tan brings extensive experience in rural property sales and team management, having previously worked at Galbraith and Savills. The appointment aims to boost Bidwells' brand awareness and expand its rural agency services in Scotland.
The news follows the selection of David Stringer as the firm's new head of transformation & business optimisiation last week. This appointment was made to spearhead its innovation drive into AI and digital transformation, the firm said.
Shaw-Tan’s background includes heading up the agency department for Galbraith in Ayrshire, where he managed a team handling a diverse portfolio of rural properties, including building plots, country houses, cottages, and farms.
In his new role, Shaw-Tan will focus on expanding Bidwells' rural agency services across Scotland. His appointment underscores Bidwells' commitment to strengthening its presence in the Scottish rural property market.
