French property investor Amundi Real Estate has announced the appointment of Marc Bertrand, replacing Jean-Marc Coly as CEO of the firm.
Bertrand joins Amundi from La Française Global Real Estate Investment Managers (GREIM) France where he was chairman since 2014.
Prior to that, Bertrand was managing director of La Française Real Estate Managers (REM) France from 2007. Having joined La Française group in 1999 as head of management control for France, he went on to become chief financial officer (2000) then director of administration and finance (2005).
Bertrand began his career in 1994 at GAN Assurances as a management controller.
He graduated from Edhec Business School, France and is certified with the French regulator, AMF.
Philppe Depoux has been lined up to replace him as chairman of La Française REM.
