Hamburg-based multinational investment bank Berenberg Bank has purchased a mixed-use asset in the city of Potsdam from a fund managed by Deutsche Asset Management for €46 mln.
The office and retail property WilhelmGalerie comprises a total rentable space of around 15,000 m2, of which 9,700 m2 are dedicated to offices, with almost 3,000 m2 of retail space and 600 m2 of food & beverage operations. It is situated in a prime, city-centre location.
The five floors of the property are almost fully let. The office and commercial building, completed in 1997, was part-financed in 2016.
BNP Paribas Real Estate was appointed by Deutsch AM to manage the sale.
