Global real estate investment management advisor BentallGreenOak has acquired a logistics project around 30 km from the city limits of Berlin.

The asset comprises around 45,500 m2 and was acquired in a forward deal from a local developer in Fürstenwalde.

The property, with a plot size of around 90,000 m2, is located close to the A12 motorway in Fürstenwalde, in the commercial area south of the Spree and is leased to a service provider of Goodyear Dunlop Germany. It is also with 20 km of the Tesla plant in Gruenheide.

The property's features include a clear height of 12 metres, 30 ramps and 730 m2 of office space. Completion is scheduled for Q2 2023.

Since 2014, BentallGreenOak has acquired, developed or is currently developing over 200 European logistics assets comprising over 6.1 million m2.

In Europe, the firm has around $10.5 bn in assets under management across debt and equity, with strategies spanning from core to value-add and development.
