UK-based private equity fund manager Benson Elliot has acquired a newly completed office building in Wroclaw from Polish developer Cavatina for €20 mln.
The acquisition represents the fifth transaction in Benson Elliot’s Polish regional office strategy.
The eight-storey building, Diamentum, was delivered earlier this year and provides 9,300 m2 of grade A office surface as well as underground parking for 100 cars. Diamentum has been awarded a BREEAM – Very Good environmental certification.
The purchase boosts Benson Elliot’s Polish regional portfolio to around 55,000 m2 of space across five key regional markets: Kraków, Gdansk, Lódz, Poznan and Wroclaw.
Joseph DeLeo, senior partner at Benson Elliot, said: ‘The acquisition of Diamentum fits in well with our strategy of acquiring quality office assets in prime locations across Poland’s major regional markets. This is an exceptional building, nearly fully let, with a blue-chip tenant roster.’
