Italian listed property company Beni Stabili has completed the disposal of a portfolio consisting of three properties in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles and leased to fashion group Prada. The transaction price amounts to $70 mln (EUR 50 mln), which compares to a book and market value of $66 mln.

The buyer is a leading private investment company active in the real estate market.

In a press statement, Beni Stabili said that the disposal is in line with its strategy to simplify 'the activities of the group by exiting the American real estate market' on the back of its planned conversion to real estate investment trust status (REIT or the Italian SIIQ).
