Single-family BTR specialist Gatehouse Investment Management has bolstered its acquisitions team by hiring Ben Bianchi as acquisitions assistant.
Bianchi will assist in identifying and analysing expansion opportunities for the single-family BTR portfolios managed by Gatehouse IM.
He joins from a family office, where he worked as an analyst across real estate, venture capital and public equities asset classes.
Gatehouse IM has so far acquired 1,300 homes for its two single-family BTR platforms: DifRent, in partnership with the Kuwait Investment Authority; and Start Living, a joint venture with TPG Real Estate Partners.
Further acquisitions are being actively explored.
John Coles, head of acquisitions at Gatehouse IM, said: ‘With capital to deploy in the immediate term across a range of platforms and strategies, this is an incredibly busy period for the team. Ben’s arrival will enable us to target new single-family BTR acquisitions even more effectively.’
