Belgium' office real estate company Befimmo has announced that about 70% of its newly-issued shares were subscribed by the closing of the subscription period on May 31. Preferential rights that were not exercised by the closing of the period will be represented by scrips. These scrips were offered on June 1, 2007 in an sale restricted to institutional investors. Scrips holders will have to subscribe to the new shares at the same price of EUR 80 per share. The final results of the subscription will be made public on 5 June 2007. Befimmo is carrying out a EUR 260 mln capital increase through the issue of about 3.3 million new shares.
