Belgian listed property firm Befimmo has announced the appointment of Olivier De Bisscop as Chief Portfolio Officer, starting January 2023.
In this capacity, De Bisscop will have oversight of the Investment, Commercial and Property Management of the existing portfolio. He will also drive several of the key strategic objectives which have been set under the new strategy. He will be part of the Senior Leadership of Befimmo and will report to Jean-Philip Vroninks, CEO.
De Bisscop comes to Befimmo from Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) where he is recently the regional head for Western Europe Core/Core+ Real Estate and where he worked for several years as head of transactions for GLL Real Estate Partners, Western Europe.
The appointment is aimed at helping accelerate the transformation of Befimmo’s portfolio. ‘This new driving force will support and accelerate the company's ambition to provide users with integrated, hybrid and sustainable living and working spaces, and creating long-term value for its stakeholders,’ the company said in a statement.
