Germany's Becken Holding, a specialist in project development, revitalisation, asset and investment management for commercial and residential properties, has appointed Markus Reinert as chief operations officer (COO).
The experienced real estate expert joins from IC Immobilien Gruppe. Reinert will liaise between the development and asset and property management teams at the company.
His core tasks include the organic and inorganic growth of new asset and property management mandates and coordinating these business areas of Industria with the manage-to-ESG activities of Becken.
The asset and property management activities in the residential sector are currently being run via Industria in Frankfurt. They are overseen by Industria managing director Jürgen Hau, who is responsible approx. 60 employees in this area.
The corporate group aims, among other things, to acquire new external clients for its asset and property management services. These mandates are expected to come from both the residential and increasingly from the commercial sector. Industria already manages external mandates, such as the management of residential portfolios for clients such as Wealthcap.
Jörn Stobbe, CEO of Becken Holding, said: 'We see great potential in combining asset and property management with manage-to-ESG strategies and their implementation.'
Added Reinert: 'I am looking forward to my new activities within the Becken Group.'
Before joining Becken, Reinert worked for more than eight years as the speaker of the management board of IC Immobilien Gruppe. Prior to that, he spent over four years as head of property and asset management and investor services for Cushman & Wakefield, responsible for the EMEA region.
Before that, he worked for more than 20 years at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in various functions and positions, including seven years as managing and international director and member of the German management board.
