Spanish lender BBVA has appointed BNP Paribas Real Estate to market a logistics portfolio offering nearly 550,000 m2 of space located throughout Spain.
The package, known as Detroit, includes a total of 441 properties, primarily warehouses and logistics plots located in 28 Spanish provinces including Murcia, Comunidad Valenciana, País Vasco, Aragón, Baleares, Castilla y León, Cantabria, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha, Canarias and Galicia.
In terms of square meters, the Catalunya region represents over 65% of the portfolio, followed by Andalucia with 20%.
The assets can be sold both individually as well as in sub-portfolios or as a single package. They comprise 327 logistics buildings offering 376,000 m2, 86 parking spots and 28 plots of land.
The bank aims to close the sale by July this year.
