German lender BayernLB has refinanced Coeur Défense, Europe’s largest office complex, centrally located in the Paris business district La Défense, as part of a bank consortium.
The property is owned by several funds managed by Amundi, CA Assurances and Primonial.
Coeur Défense is an iconic modern office building with around 183,000 m2 of grade-A office, retail and MICE space, including the largest conference centre in La Défense.
The property offers 39 floors of unobstructed views and includes extensive services and amenities, numerous restaurants, a fitness centre and 2,800 parking spaces.
BayernLB is one of Germany's major commercial banks which specialises in a number of services, including real estate loans. BayernLB's real estate division, a core business area of the bank, finances property in all asset classes.
