The Middle Eastern investor has purchased the Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern and the Royal Savoy Hotel in Lausanne. In a statement, Barwa said the investments would bolster the firm's strategic expansion in Europe and help it develop an internationally balanced portfolio of real estate assets. The company said it will renovate the two hotels and assign new operators.
