Barings Real Estate has expanded its European asset management and transactions team with the appointment of Guillaume Bieganski as director, asset management & transactions.
Bieganski will be based in Barings’ Paris office, and will support the development of the business in France, reporting to head of France Séverine Laffineur.
He joins from Abenex (formerly ABN Amro Capital France) where he was a director overseeing the launch and development of the company’s real estate activity.
Between 2013 and 2016, Bieganski served as a portfolio manager for Standard Life Investments where he was responsible for asset management and acquisitions in Central and Eastern Europe. He has also held positions at Bouygues Immobilier, BNP Paris and DTZ Investors.
Séverine Laffineur, head of France at Barings Real Estate, commented, 'This appointment adds to our growing team in France since we made our first acquisition in 2016.'
