Barings Real Estate has appointed Jere Fredriksson as head of real estate transactions in Finland to drive growth across the company's €700 mln Finnish property portfolio.
Fredriksson, who will be based in the Helsinki office, will report to Barings’ head of real estate transactions Europe, Gunther Deutsch. In his role, he will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of Barings’ platform in Finland through the sourcing of transactions across the risk spectrum from core to value add.
He brings over 10 years’ experience in real estate and joins Barings from LocalTapiola Real Estate Asset Management where he worked across transactions and portfolio and investment management involving a range of asset classes. Prior to this, Fredriksson spent two years at NCC Property Development, one of the largest real estate development companies in the Nordics.
