German developer ABG Real Estate Group has secured a financing package for its Deutschlandshaus project from UniCredit and HypoVereinsbank, and including Bayerische Landesbank, and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.
It is one of the most significant large-scale developments in the region for several years with 40,000 m2 of flexible office space that the developer has fully leased.
The asset becomes fully operational at the end of the month.
Haspa is the main tenant taking 30,800 m2.
Among the other tenants is Nord-Ostsee Automobile, which will present luxurious British sports cars by Aston Martin in a brand-new showroom on approximately 400 m2 on the ground floor. There is also retail and gastronomy and 30 rental apartments. An architectural highlight is the 1,200 m2 Palm Hall with a 40-metre high light dome.
It has been developed according to USGBC quality standards and has already received LEED Gold pre-certification.
Hadi Teherani is the architect.
The new-build replaces a building British occupying forces provided under the name Hamburg House, which underwent several changes in the following decades.
ABG acquired the building complex in 2014.
