Spanish bank El Sabadell has reportedly hired a property consultant to organise the sale of half of its 1,250 office-property portfolio across Spain. According to Spanish paper El Pais, the bank is looking to realise capital gains of EUR 600 mln from the disposal. Banco Sabadell hopes to broker a deal on the 600 properties next year.

Last year, Spanish bank Santander sold a network of 1,200 bank premises to Sun Capital Partners, insurer Pearl Group and Drago Real Estate Partners for EUR 2 bn.
