Following the acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland's European Real Estate business was transferred into Lloyds Banking Group's Wealth & International division.
Kaufmann has been part of the Real Estate team since 2007. He succeeds Leonhard Goebel who was appointed head of Real Estate Europe last year. Goebel is also a member of the Wholesale Europe Executive Committee. Both Goebel and Kaufmann are based in the Bank's Frankfurt branch.
