The debt facility was provided to two separate entities (special purpose vehicles) which are jointly owned by SFR and French property and construction group Vinci Immobilier, which is in charge of the development under a turnkey contract.
The HQ consists of two independent buildings covering 74,400 m2 of net area located in the new Landy-Pleyel district of Saint-Denis, opposite the Stade de France. Construction work started at the beginning of November, with completion planned for the end of 2013.
Designed by star architect Jean-Paul Viguier, the scheme aims to obtain HQE, BBC and BREEAM environmentally sustainable certificates. The complex will also include 1,600 m2 of retail accommodation, conference facilities with capacity for 750 people, and an auditorium.
The lenders were advised by law firms Gide Loyrette Nouel and Thibierge and Associés, and the borrower by law firms Orrick Rambaud Martel and Bailly Pommery Cauro.
