A consortium of banks has agreed to finance the Wriezener Karree project, a new office, commercial and leisure district on the site of the former Wriezen train station in Berlin, to the tune of €273 mln.
The banks are financing the construction of a high-grade five-storey office complex by Edge Wriezener Karree Berlin.
The property, with around 36,000 m2 of usable space and an underground car park with 75 parking spaces, is being built on a plot in Berlin's Mediaspree area.
BCLP provided legal advice for the transaction under the leadership of partner Frank Schwem and counsel Constantin Alfes.
The BCLP team also included partners Dr. Torsten Pokropp and Christian Lonquich, senior associates Tony Sparing and Sascha Ryssok, associate John Patrick Jahn and transaction manager Romy Damm.
