Brussels-based Banimmo has signed two new credit facilities for a total amount of EUR 64.9 mln, the company said in a press release. The two new credit facilities will complete an existing syndicated loan of EUR 210 mln aimed at helping the 'grasp acquisition opportunities'.

Brussels-based Banimmo has signed two new credit facilities for a total amount of EUR 64.9 mln, the company said in a press release. The two new credit facilities will complete an existing syndicated loan of EUR 210 mln aimed at helping the 'grasp acquisition opportunities'.

The new credit facilities 'indicate the confidence the bank community has in Banimmo's business model and the soundness of its balance sheet', it added.

Banimmo said its consolidated financial debt ratio amounts to 56% folllowing a dividend payment on May 28 and taking into account the half-year fair value revaluation on its portfolio .

Banimmo focuses on repositioning and redeveloping buildings in the office, retail and semi-industrial sectors, as well as in conference and exhibition centres. It is active in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. Until now, the Banimmo group has invested in around 29 real estate properties representing a total value of more than EUR 390 mln. Belgium accounts for nearly 70% of the portfolio in terms of market value while France represents a little more than 25% .
