The property, located in the Zaventem district, comprises 16,000 m2 over seven levels, including a basement with 280 parking spaces.

Banimmo sold 100% of the shares in the company Alma Court Invest, which owns the property, to an institutional investor. The vendor agreed to provide a rental guarantee to cover the possible departure of some tenants.

After settling the loan that was used to finance the asset, Banimmo will hold around €15 mln. The transaction will close at the end of September.

The deal is part of Banimmo's ongoing sales programme to divest around €190 mln of properties in the next six months.

Banimmo and the banks participating in the €120 mln syndicated credit facility implemented in September 2011 (ING and KBC), have also reached an agreement for a new one-year financing to replace the facility that ended on 5 September 2016, involving the gradual repayment of the current outstanding debt of €77 mln. The sales of Alma Court, Marché StGermain and Halle Secrétan in Paris all contribute to this end.
