Swedish property landlord Balder has agreed to acquire Masmästaren, the owner of a SEK 5 bn (€490 mln) property portfolio in Sweden.
The deal – the largest property transaction in Sweden so far this year - is expected to close during the first quarter of 2021.
Masmästaren owns a 250,000 m2 commercial and residential property portfolio largely located in Falun/Borlänge, Västerås, Uppsala and Nacka.
‘Masmästaren is a really excellent company, which we are grateful to be able to welcome into the Balder family,’ commented Balder’s CEO Erik Selin.
‘This has been a smooth process, which is only possible with both a professional and decisive seller in Masmästaren and buyer in Balder. This is a solid deal for both parties in the largest transaction in Sweden this year,’ added Joakim Arvius, CEO of Pangea Property Partners Sweden, which advised the vendor.
