Swedish property company Balder said that it has purchased three mixed-use properties in the cities of Malmö and Helsingborg for a total of SEK 221 mln (EUR 23 mln). In a statement, the firm said that the assets offer a total of 29,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of residential, office and retail space.

'Balder is continuing to expand its portfolio of commercial and residential properties in attractive locations,' said Balder's CEO Erik Selin. Earlier this month, the company sold eight residential and office assets for a total of SEK 116 mln.

Balder, based in Goteborg, is active in the development and management of commercial real estates located in Sweden, with a portfolio covering a gross leasable area of 1.3 million m2.

Also in Sweden, peer company Forvaltaren said that it has divested one of its largest assets, 10, Freden Större in the Hallonbergen suburb of Stockholm for SEK 183 mln. The property offers 37,250 m2 of commercial space and is leased to a number of tenants including Sodexho, and PrisXtra Post. The buyer is Profi, which owns and manages a number of properties in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

Commercial property firm Axfast also said that it has bought the Orgelpipan 4 office property in central Stockholm for SEK 230 mln from Fabege.
