Baker joins HDG Mansur as European development director

Michael Baker is joining HDG Mansur Investment Services as Senior Managing Director and head of Development in the UK and Europe.

He is responsible for overseeing the company’s existing and new developments including the £255 mln (EUR 300 mln) Finzels Reach mixed-use scheme in Bristol. As a member of senior management, he will also assist the Company in identifying new projects and joint ventures in the UK and throughout Europe.

With over 25 years experience, Baker was most recently the director of Grosvenor’s GBI business, with responsibility for Grosvenor’s commercial and residential development business. He has also held positions as head of UK Development at Quintain and Director of UK Offices at Hammerson.

Baker is a qualified (MRICS) general practice surveyor and has significant experience in London development, acquisition, investment, portfolio and asset management.
