Multi-asset alternative investment firm Bain Capital Credit has entered a strategic joint venture with White Star Group, an international real estate company.
The joint venture will invest in premium logistics projects in Poland and the CEE.
The first projects of the joint venture include two A class logistics centres in the Warsaw suburbs of Nowy Konik and Raszyn. The total area of both facilities will be approximately 120,000 m2.
The BREEAM-certified structures will be equipped with green solutions such as photovoltaic panels, water recycling, energy efficient systems and electric vehicle charging stations. The buildings are located in a high-demand warehousing area with easy access to national roads and motorways.

The transaction was led by Linklaters London and Warsaw teams including Tom Watkins (partner, London), Matthew Plaskow (managing associate, London), Michal Miecinski (counsel, Warsaw), and Monika Lerka (managing associate, Warsaw). Janusz Dzianachowski (partner, Warsaw) was also involved.
