AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (AXA REIM) has acquired two retail assets in Sweden for about SEK 1.2 bn (EUR 111 mln). Acting on behalf of its AXA Immoselect open-ended fund, AXA REIM bought a retail park located in Malmo from Stora Bernstorp. The complex, offering 37,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of space, was opened in November 2008.

For its AXA Immosolutions fund, AXA REIM purchased the Hansa City portfolio from Sveafastigheter. It includes a 27,000 m2 retail park located in Kalmar.
Axa’s Stockholm office directed by Jerôme Arnaud is currently managing assets of a total value of circa SEK 10 bn (EUR 950 mln) in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The office has made three additions to its team, appointing Stefan Timan as head of acquisitions in the Nordic and Baltic regions, Duncan Hoare as asset manager and Henrik Hansen as analyst to its Nordic office.
