European real estate manager Axa Real Estate Investment Managers (Axa REIM) has announced the appointment of Dennis G. Lopez as Global Chief Investment Officer. Heading up all Axa Reim Fund Management activities, Lopez will be responsible for the quality and consistency of investment services as well as the performances delivered to all Axa REIM clients. He will report to Pierre Vaquier, Chief Executive Officer of Axa REIM, and will join the company’s management board.

With over 23 years spent in the investment industry, Lopez has extensive experience in investment banking and real estate investment management and a deep knowledge of the US, European, Indian and Russian markets; he has been involved with investors from Japan, the Middle East, US and Europe.
A London-based American, Lopez graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles with an MBA in Finance & Accounting. Prior to joining Axa REIM, he was Chief Executive Officer of Sun Real Estate, operating in the UK, Russia and India.
