AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets has confirmed that Charles Daulon du Laurens has been appointed global head of client capital group.
PropertyEU broke the news last week that Daulon du Laurens was being appointed to the global fundraising role.
In his new role, Daulon du Laurens will lead the new client capital group (CCG) team which comprises investor relations professionals from across three regions – EMEA, North America and Asia. They will work as one unified global team to further integrate AXA IMRA's global capital raising capabilities, 'enhancing the promotion of its product range across regions and increasing cross-continent capital flows', the investment manager said.
Daulon du Laurens joined AXA IMRA in 2012 to run the capital raising efforts of its commercial real estate finance platform, and was responsible for over €5 bn of third-party capital raising for this segment between 2012 and 2014. Since December 2014, he has led AXA IMRA's sales efforts in Europe, the Middle East and Canada, overseeing €7.5 bn of third-party capital raising.
Earlier this week AXA IMRA announced that Dennis Lopez was stepping down from his role as global chief investment officer to become CEO of QuadReal, a global real estate investment manager in Canada.
