Alexis Gisselbrecht has been appointed senior fund manager within the development and value-added fund management team at AXA investment managers - real assets (AXA - IMRA), effective immediately.
He will report to Ian Chappell, head of value-add & development funds.
Gisselbrecht will be based in London and his primary responsibilities will be to continue to develop and implement value-add investment strategies, where AXA IMRA has had capital raising success. This will include across the firm's pan-European value added venture (PEVAV) series.
Gisselbrecht joins AXA IMRA from Patrizia Immobilien in London, where he was a senior fund manager specialising in the value-add and higher-return investments segment.
Prior to this he spent 12 years with Blackrock (including years with MPGA, acquired by BlackRock in 2013) where he held various positions within the investment and fund management teams, specialising in value-add investments.
