AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets announced that it appointed Joe Persechino and Vincent Mezard as head of residential/student accommodation and head of hospitality respectively.
Persechino joins AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets from Global Student Accommodation, where he was commercial operations director for the EMEA region.
Based in London, Persechino will manage AXA’s residential portfolio spanning Europe, Asia and the US, and the student accommodation portfolio in Europe and the US.
Vincent Mezard joins AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets from AccorInvest, where he was head of development, and oversaw the development of the real-estate focused platform “AccorHotels”. Mezard will be based in London, too, and will be responsible for AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets’ hotel portfolio.
AXA Investment Managers is global multi-asset investor with €759 bn in assets under management, €77 bn of which in real estate. It is part of the French insurance group AXA.
