Global investment giant AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets (AXA IMRA) has appointed Sven Krumpholz as head of asset management & transactions in Germany.
Based in Cologne, Krumpholz will report directly to Andrew Stainer, global head of asset management, and will join Christoph Moelleken, head of fund management, in heading the real assets business in Germany.

AXA IMRA currently manages over €5 bn of assets across multiple asset classes in Germany, in both investment and development mandates. According to AXA IMRA, the business has completed around €1 bn of aggregate transactions in the market over the past 12 months.
These include the acquisitions on behalf of clients of a centrally located Munich office building; a prime retail and hotel development opportunity in the city centre of Leipzig; Taunushaus, a 11,200 m2 office in Munich’s Milbershofen business district; 17 healthcare properties in Western Germany for c. €310 mln; and the Abba Hotel in Berlin.
