AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets (AXA IMRA) has appointed Frederick Widl as country head, Switzerland, effective February 2019.
AXA IMRA has also announced that Ernst Schaufelberger, the current Swiss country head will retire at the end of January 2019.

Widl has over 12 years’ experience in real estate investment and asset management and joined AXA IMRA in 2011 as a development project manager, before being promoted to head of transactions in Switzerland in 2013.
In his future role as country head of Switzerland, Widl will oversee all asset management and development activities in the country and be responsible for managing the Swiss team.
Prior to AXA IMRA, Frederick worked as development manager real estate CEE, at Strabag Real Estate, a leading real estate development company.
Switzerland is AXA IMRA's second largest country by asset value, with over €13 bn (CHF 15 bn) of assets under management on behalf of clients.
