AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets (AXA IM - Real Assets) has appointed Germain Aunidas as global head of development, with effect from 1 May, 2016.

AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets (AXA IM - Real Assets) has appointed Germain Aunidas as global head of development, with effect from 1 May, 2016.

Aunidas will replace Jean-Manuel Rossi, who will retire from AXA IM - Real Assets after 25 years.

Based in Paris, Aunidas will manage all French developments while also overseeing the entirety of AXA IM - Real Assets’ development activity in Europe, as well as specific deals and fundraisings. He will support the ongoing growth and development of the platform through coordinating each local development team, including Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the UK, with both current and future projects.

Aunidas will be also in charge of developing further relationships with partners.

With over 10 years’ experience in managing redevelopment and new construction projects, he joined AXA IM - Real Assets in 2014 as deputy head of development.

He previously served at Unibail-Rodamco as a development director, where he was responsible for major development projects across the retail and leisure sectors. Prior to this, he was a real estate developer at Sodearif for seven years, where he managed a range of large scale projects in the Parisian area.

Jean-Manuel Rossi has 36 years’ development experience, 25 years of which have been within AXA IM - Real Assets, having joined in 1990. He has been responsible for both redevelopment and new construction projects across four generations of development funds, as well as the development of multiple flagship headquarter offices for major international companies.
